2008
In May, viastore acquires Blesco, an American company based in Grand Rapids (Michigan). Blesco provides system integration solutions for distribution centers. Moreover, the company is competent in handling special customer applications. viastore thereby extends it position on the American Market.
CeMAT, the world’s leading fair for internal logistics, is started in May for the second time. Given a considerable increase (20%) of trade visitors, the fair exceeds all expectations.
2007
The projects IKEA Valls (Spain) and IKEA Savannah (U.S.A.) go live. viastore realizes an automated mini-load system as part of the worldwide central spare parts supply for the TRUMPF Group at the Ditzingen headquarters. The warehouse is completed operated under SAP LES.
2006
viastore systems scheduled by Ikea to provide a 13 aisle pallet AS/RS for the southeastern Distribution Center. The system goes live in 2007.
viastore systems sells its subsidiary Provia Software in the U.S.A. in order to increase its strategic focus on its core business, the construction of automated storage and retrieval systems.
Success in Eastern Europe: The warehouse for agricultural machine manufacturer Rostselmash is the first major viastore project in Russia. Soon afterwards Crocus International Estates based in Moscow schedules viastore to provide a five-aisle AS/RS.
2005
Cargill Meat Solutions goes live with the new 20 aisle viastore system mini load system in Friona, Texas.
Frank Apel becomes new member of the viastore management along with Christoph Hahn-Woernle and Peter W. Haelsig.
The major project for kitchen and table culture supplier WMF in Geislingen goes live. Here viastore has completely modernized a warehouse established in the seventies, implemented new logistics processes and replaced existing software with the viad@t standard warehouse management system software. viastore’s high Performance Picking System (HPPS) was also introduced.
The first independent CeMAT, leading trade fair for intralogistics, takes place in Hanover. viastore managing director Christoph Hahn-Woernle is chairman of the CeMAT committee. The fair is a complete success.
2004
Gordon Food Service selected viastore systems to provide the automated inbound material handling system for its new distribution center in Shepardsville, Kentucky.
viastore systems receives order from Ikea for the construction of four AS/RS facilities in Germany, Spain and the United States. The warehouses are equipped with 14 S/R machines each and offer storage locations for more than 80,000 pallets. Step by step, they are complete by 2007.

Modern Materials Handling magazine ranks viastore systems as one of “The World’s Top 20 Systems Suppliers” for 2002.

viastore systems Inc. completes a major retrofit of Rittal Corporation’s new Manufacturing and Distribution Center in Urbana, Ohio, including modifications to the rack-supported structure, upgrades of the S/R machine controls and replacement of the existing conveyor system including the installation of a high-speed shuttle car.
viastore generates sales exceeding DEM 200 million.

Sale of the Haushahn Group to Schindler, 100% takeover of C. Haushahn Automationssysteme GmbH & Co. KG by managing director Christoph Hahn-Woernle.
