viastore SYSTEMS, a leading material handling automation systems and software company, announced that Alex Nitsche has joined the company’s North American operations as chief financial officer. At viastore, he will be responsible for the financial strategy of the company and oversee all finance functions, including, external reporting, audit, tax, risk management, and business unit finance.

Nitsche was previously CFO with Schuler Inc., in Canton, Michigan and brings over 25 years’ of increasing experience in purchasing, logistics, accounting, and international finance to viastore.

“Alex is a results-oriented Senior International Finance Executive with extensive hands-on experience and managerial oversight of finance and accounting units,” said Tom Tobin, president and CEO of viastore systems. “His experience with industrial capital equipment and automation systems projects, combined with his previous positions with US subsidiaries of German companies give him a great understanding of our business as we look to grow our position within the automated material handling industry. We are excited to have him on board.”

Nitsche received an MBA from Capital University.
