Simply explained: Automatic tugger train loading and unloading at our customer

Glove scanner and handheld with viadat screen on the arm of an employee at Phoenix Contact in Herrenberg, Germany

The viadat warehouse management system controls all processes: The worker removes a trolley filled with empty containers and pushes it into the automatic system. This guarantees a simple, ergonomic and safe transfer to the conveyor system.

Then the fully automated loading and unloading process of the container begins.

The load handling device guides the containers into a defined compartment of the trolley. As soon as the trolley is fully loaded it is made available for the employee.

viadat then assigns the trolley to a location of the tugger trailer. The worker pushes the trolley to the assigned location and confirms the successful loading process in the system. This ensures a minimal error rate.
